Minnie Mouse Cupcakes
How to make Minnie Mouse Cupcakes!
Cupcakes decorated with a Minnie Mouse bow and ears!

If you want to re – create these cute Minnie Mouse cupcakes this is how I did it…
Cakes:
I used a packet Utility cake mix any packet cake mix will be fine.
Or you can follow the cake recipe below:
Ingredients
2 cups self-raising flour, sifted
3/4 cup caster sugar
3/4 cup milk
125g butter, melted, cooled
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200C or 180C fan-force.
Combine flour and caster sugar in a bowl. Make a well in the centre.
Step 2
Add milk, butter, eggs and vanilla to flour mixture and mix.
Step 3
Spoon mixture into prepared patty pans. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Stand for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
Icing
I used a White Chocolate Ganache. You can use a butter cream if you would prefer the recipe is below:
White Chocolate Ganache
Chocolate to Cream Ratios
500gms 160mls
1kg 300mls
1.5 500mls
2kg 600ml
Method
Boil cream then simmer add choc and hand whisk until combined allow to set in fridge overnight
or you can use
Buttercream icing
Ingredients
125g butter, softened
1 1/2 cups icing sugar mixture
1 tablespoon milk
Method
Using an electric mixer, beat butter in a bowl until pale. Gradually add icing sugar mixture and milk, beating constantly until combined.
Bows:
- Pink Ready to Roll Fondant
Roll out a thin piece of pink ready to roll fondant and fold into the shape of a bow. With another thin piece of fondant fold over the middle of the bow. You could use a bow mould if you would prefer.
Ears:
- Black Ready to Roll Fondant
- Small Round cutter
Roll out a thin piece of black ready to roll fondant. You could also use mini Oreos for the ears if you would prefer?!
Dots:
- White Ready to Roll Fondant
Roll out a thin piece of white ready to roll fondant. I just rolled small amounts of fondant with my fingers you could use the end of a straw to cut the dots out.
Now you have the best looking and tasting Minnie Mouse Cupcakes!
