Bicarb (Baking Soda) and Mineral water
As simple as it sounds this recipe is an absolute wonder for sensitive (prone to redness and irritation) skin. As you all know regular exfoliation is very important because by removing the dead cells from the skin surface, you stimulate its own rejuvenating process, which makes it a must-follow beauty procedure, regardless of your age and skin type.
Exfoliation – Why You Need To Do It
As we age our skin cell renews itself approximately every 28 days. So we need to assist our skin in gently sloughing the excess dead skin cells.
Sodium Bicarbonate – baking soda – an alkaline compound that neutralizes acids and is incredibly gentle on the skin) for people with allergies, this is one of the few options that is sure not to cause any irritations or breakouts.
The recipe: It is actually quite simple!
1 table spoon of Bicarb (Baking Soda)
Add some water. Just to get a consistency suitable for applying.
Gently rub the paste in circular motions over your entire face to get rid of all dead skin. Continue to do this until you feel you have exfoliated every inch of skin on your face. Rinse the scrub off of your face with lukewarm water. Splash your face with cold water to close pores.
It’s that simple!
